Right now, there are many elderly residents and children who can use your help in the New Haven area. If you have a few hours a week or month, you can make a difference in someone's life. Jewish Family Service of New Haven is seeking volunteers of all ages to work within the community and the JFS office. Some of the volunteer opportunities available include academic tutoring for children between the ages of 6-14; positions for friendly visiting to the elderly; working with adults with developmental disabilities; office work, and childcare.
For more information about the JFS Volunteer Program, please contact Mara Ginsberg, Volunteer Coordinator, at 203 389-5599 x119 or email at mginsberfsnh.org. JFS serves people of all religious and ethnic backgrounds.
