JFS of New Haven now offers special education advocacy services to the Jewish community. Families with children involved in an Individualized Education Program may seek assistance from JFS for their children.

Amy Rashba, LCSW, JFS special education advocate, will also review the child’s Individualized Education Plan and offer the family assistance in securing necessary services. Rashba, who has worked at JFS for over 20 years in all areas of social work, has expertise in the area of special education advocacy.
