The Jewish Historical Society of Greater New Haven, founded in 1976, is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and preserving historical documents, photographs, artifacts, and memorabilia of the Jewish community of the greater New Haven region, and to reaching a broad and diverse audience through publications, exhibitions, seminars, and educational programs.

In late spring 2018, the Jewish Historical Society will be moving with the other members of the Ethnic Heritage Center to the main campus of Southern Connecticut State University.
