NJOP's Passover Essentials


NJOP has put together a group of outstanding "How To" resources that are sure to enhance the Passover experience. The Passover Essentials include:

Second Night Virtual Seders


The following virtual seders will be held on Thursday, April 9:


  • 6:30 PM - Temple Emanuel of Greater New Haven's annual seder will take place online this year, led by Rabbi Farbman. Learn more
  • 7 PM - Congregation Mishkan Israel's annual tradition will continue with a virtual seder led by Rabbi Immerman and Cantor Giglio. Learn more

HIAS Haggadah


This moment of uncertainty calls us to resist the urge to turn inward and, instead, turn outward and remember the 70 million displaced people around the world who are made that much more volunerable in this moment. Ideas for a Solo Seder


Pesach will be uniquely challenging for everyone this year. This is a different time, in very different circumstances. The following document is a bit of a choose-your-own adventure for those who will be making Seder on their own this year. Some of these suggestions also work great for uber-tiny Sedarim.
