Jewish Federation Annual Campaign Phone-a-thon
10 AM - 1 PM | The Cube, JCC of Greater New Haven | Adults
Make phone calls to raise money for the Federation Annual Campaign. Call our community members to thank them for their support of the Jewish Federation’s 2019 Annual Campaign and make calls to provide others the opportunity to participate. Our Annual Campaign supports all of the aspects of our community that we enjoy every day; our schools, camps, senior citizens, Jews in need locally, in Israel and around the world.
PJ Library Storytime with Stacey

Young families are invited to learn about Mitzvot with fun stories and songs.
MakerSpace Napkin Holder Project

Help beautify the tables of senior citizens in our community by making a nice addition to their dining tables. Napkin holders will be donated to The Towers.
Food Prep for Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen (DESK)

Package Food for Food4Kids

Gather at JFS to bag groceries for Food4Kids, a program of Jewish Family Service of Greater New Haven. This meaningful activity is for adults and children ages 16 and up.
Bird House Painting at The Towers
12 - 2 PM | The Towers, New Haven
Join the residents of The Towers to help them beautify their garden by painting bird houses that they crafted.
Paint the Jewell St. Cemetery Wall
12 - 3 PM | Jewell Street Cemeteries, New Haven | Ages 15+ (space is limited)
Meet at the Jewell Street Cemetery entrance in Westville to paint a wall in disrepair. Paint and brushes will be supplied.
Bike Path Cleanup
12:30 PM (Cheshire), 1 PM (Hamden) | All Ages
Join us at designated meeting places in both
Hamden and Cheshire to clean up along the
Canal Rail Trail.
Inspirational Card Writing with Yahad

Make cards for the Ronald McDonald House with Yachad, the religious schools for Or Shalom and B’nai Jacob.
Plarning at Temple Emanuel
11 AM - 1 PM | Temple Emanuel, Orange | All Ages
Join the Temple Emanuel families by plarning (plastic yarn) to make soft sleep mats for those in need.
Intergenerational Game Time at The Towers

Spend some time playing board games with the residents of The Towers.
Cleanup at Camp Laurelwood
1 - 3 PM | Camp Laurelwood, Madison | All Ages
Help Laurelwood get ready for camp by engaging in a few cleanup activities. There will also be rock painting to beautify both camp and the gardens at The Towers and various other facilities in the Greater New Haven area.

Bring unopened, standard-sized boxes of cereal to one of our collection locations around the Greater New Haven area (TBA) to benefit the clients of Jewish Family Service of Greater New Haven.
Children's Book Collection and Pop-up Craft with PJ Library

Bring a children's book for donation to Ronald McDonald House and make bookmarks with PJ Library. Open to all ages.
Pop-up Craft: Stone Painting

Express yourself by painting stones for our downtown cemeteries and the gardens at Tower One. (This project will happen at two locations: the JCC of Greater New Haven and Camp Laurelwood).
