A COMMUNITY EDUCATION EVENT

In an interactive session, learn about palliative care and what resources are available.

Discussion led by Dr. Jennifer Kapo 
Chief, Yale New Haven  Palliative Care Service

Who is this program for?
●     Everyone ­— we all serious illness, as a patient, caregiver or family member
●     Healthcare professionals and policymakers 
interested in learning more about palliative care
What is palliative care?
●     Palliative care is specialized medical care for people with serious illness. The goal is to 
improve the quality of life for both the patient and the family.

Free to the public Kosher refreshments will be served.
