On Tuesday, September 15, President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were joined by the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates at the White House for the signing of historic and groundbreaking normalization agreements between Israel and the two Arab countries.
Marking the "dawn of a new Middle East," Prime Minister Netanyahu remarked that this "treaty could end [the] Arab-Israel conflict once and for all." While the agreements will not go into effect until ratified by the Knesset, all four parties remarked that this signing represents a turning point in Arab-Israel relations in the Middle East.
