Naturalist and BEKI member Bruce Spierer will lead an Elul Nature Walk on Sunday August 20, from 10:30 am to noon, at Lake Wintergreen, which is part of West Rock Ridge State Park. Adults and children are all welcome for this walk on the beautiful, quiet nature trail which surrounds the lake. The parking area is across from 45 Main Street in Hamden, off of Wintergreen Ave. No pre-registration required. Wear comfortable shoes for hiking and bring water to drink.
