To allow those who aren’t comfortable attending in person to participate in Shavuot learning, BEKI member Steven Fraade will lead a pre-Shavuot zoom study session on "The Dead Sea Scrolls: Controversies Then and Now." The Mark Taper Professor of the History of Judaism at Yale, Steven is the editor of The Damascus Document, a new translation, with notes and detailed commentary to the Dead Sea Scroll most commonly called the Damascus Document.
