Join writer, coach and speaker David Ben Moshe to hear his incredible story of positive transformation from incarcerated felon to Orthodox Israeli journalist.

While serving a prison sentence for selling drugs and guns, and on a five-hour lockdown in the prison library, David discovered Judaism and decided to build a better life for himself. After his release, he became a successful personal trainer, eventually owning a fitness studio in Baltimore, Maryland, and underwent an Orthodox Jewish Conversion at B'nai Israel Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in the United States. He then moved to Israel, where he studied at Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies as a social justice fellow and then spent five years fighting for citizenship - an automatic right for all Jews, including converts - which he only received after an eight-day hunger strike

David now writes and speaks about racial inequality, health and fitness, and Israel. His writing has been featured in many outlets, including Newsweek, The Jerusalem Post, and Business Insider. He is finishing his master's degree in journalism at NYU and has spoken for many diverse groups across North America, Europe, and Israel.
