Save the date for the JEWEL Society Inaugural Event! 

The JEWEL Society was formed in 2023 to encourage support for the activities of PJ Library. “JEWEL” is an acronym for “JEwish Women Emerging Leaders,” selected by the founders to embody the philanthropic endeavor of our valued members who are taking personal responsibility for the continuity of Jewish identity in our community.

With gifts to PJ Library, JEWEL Society members take the lead in ensuring a vibrant Jewish community in Greater New Haven for generations to come. A gift to PJ Library allows us to reach the families of more than 800 children from birth to 8 years old, enriching their lives with Jewish books, local family programming and outreach.

Donors who contribute $118 to PJ Library locally to become a member of the JEWEL Society will receive a special bracelet and invitations to exclusive JEWEL Society social events. Members then receive a commemorative charm for each year of support.
