Shulamith "Shula" Chernoff, who died last spring, will be remembered at a memorial celebration at BEKI. Her children invite the community to attend. 

After a lifetime of teaching and mentoring early childhood educators at SCSU, Shula retired and began a new career as a poet. She published two books of poetry and was working on a third at the time of her death. 

Lunch will follow the memorial. If you plan to stay for the luncheon, please inform the BEKI office by Friday, July 15.
