Masks4school

The rising number of COVID-19 cases in Connecticut is concerning. Who would have ever imagined that a simple three-ply paper mask would become one of the most talked about pieces of equipment in the world?  But for children going back to school this fall, they represent safety – alleviating their fears of contracting this horrible disease.

"Masks for Heroes" was established in April of 2020 to provide free surgical masks to first responders, health care providers and others on the front lines battling the spread of Covid 19.  We subsequently expanded our efforts to "Masks for CT" to service any resident in need of help, distributing over 1.5 million disposable masks to over 140 towns and cities.  We are pleased to announce our next focus will be protecting students as they return to school.  In conjunction with the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven, Masks4School.org will distribute 25,000 cloth, reusable youth masks, free of charge, to various school districts throughout the state.
