Like us, many of you are monitoring the situation in Israel, where wildfires have been burning along the Jerusalem corridor for several days. Thankfully the wildfires seem to be coming under control.  Since early in the crisis, the Jewish Federations of North America's Israel Office has been in close contact with our emergency partners at the Jewish Agency for Israel, American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), and Israel Trauma Coalition (ITC).

Click here for an update that was sent out today by Amira Ahronoviz, Director General and CEO of the Jewish Agency, to their Board of Governors detailing their wildfire response. JDC and ITC have been closely monitoring the situation and are not implementing any interventions at this time. ITC will continue to monitor trauma needs of those who lost property or business and will provide support if the situation warrants it.
