SUMMER CLOTHES AND GIFT CARDS NEEDED FOR JCARR CHILDREN
JCARR children, like all children, grow a lot from season to season.  For his Bar Mitzvah project, Emile Stanley is working to provide summer clothing needed by JCARR children. He is collecting gift cards and gently used clothing for these JCARR children:
Boys: ages 1, 3, 11, 14, 16
Girls: ages 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 18
Gift cards for stores including Target, Burlington Coat Factory, Kohls and Walmart can be emailed to Emile’s mother, or given to a synagogue liaison for JCARR.

Clothes can be dropped off in the lobby at Congregation Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Rd, Hamden, CT 06517, or at Emile/Njeri’s garage, which is behind their house, down a driveway - 192 Bishop street, New Haven, CT. The garage is always open.

For more information, please contact Emile’s mother:  Njeri Thande, nkthande@gmail.com, 734 223 3451.

Family 9
In preparation for the summer heat, we are seeking air conditioning units for family 9. Portable units
would work well as will window units, depending on size. If you have an air conditioning unit to donate, please contact Lina Lawall by text or phone at 203 215-9570. Thank you for your generosity.

Marwa, who is in 10th grade at Hillhouse High School, was excited to participate in a trip to Philadelphia for students who made the honor roll!

Family 5 needs a food storage cabinet to keep mice out of the foodstuff! Metal might be better than wood, but anything is fine.  If you can help, please contact Barbara Klein at bklein5987@aol.com.

Family 4 is so grateful for the hutch that was given to them by a JCARR friend!
