Shabbat on the Beach Helps Us Live in the Moment

by Stacey Battat

In our ever-evolving, tech-driven, multitasking lives, the Jewish Shabbat offers us moments and rituals to help us live more in the moment. The transition of elevating the mundane to the sacred allows us to infuse our lives with practices that are universal tools for being human.

Join us at any or all of the Shabbat-on-the-Beach events this summer so that you and your little ones can find time to listen, reset, and connect with the WOW moments of the universe.

We will meet at 6 PM (of course, come ahead for extra beach time) at the following locations for a PJ Library Shabbat story and a short musical service with the Rabbi. You are welcome to stay for the annual Shabbat on the Beach with the full congrega tion as well.

Please check the PJ Library Facebook page for cancellations due to weather. Look for the PJ Library lawn signs or email Stacey for more information.
