“As a result of the Foundation's generosity, I was inspired to give back to the community, ensuring that others also have the chance to grow and contribute. I had an incredible and fulfilling experience volunteering at Cafe J this summer, at the JCC. The time I have spent at Cafe J has been eye-opening and enriching in ways I could never have imagined. Working with the interns from Chapel Haven taught me valuable life lessons and the power of human connection. I am thankful for the chance to make a positive impact on our community, and I owe a significant part of this opportunity to the Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven’s Israel Experience Scholarship for my gap year scholarship that supported me so that I may enrich my education in Israel.
