Women of Vision 2018 Grant Application Announced

The Women of Vision Society is pleased to announce the 2018 grant application process. Grant awards typically range between $500 and $3,000 for qualifying programs.

The Jewish Foundation’s Women of Vision Society has been helping women and girls in the Greater New Haven area and Israel for over 20 years. This endowment, now with over 200 members, has tackled issues from domestic violence and health to acculturation and spirituality.  The Women of Vision Society was established to make endowed giving more accessible to Greater New Haven women. The society empowers women as philanthropists and decision makers and encourages lifelong designated giving. Every society member has an opportunity to help direct this pooled restricted fund and its impact on Greater New Haven and Israel.

Through our grant making, Women of Vision Society gives voice to women and girls in Greater New Haven and Israel through innovative projects or programs that are visionary and seek to foster a better future and Jewish continuity.  Since its inception, Women of Vision has disbursed over $180,000 to help seed and sustain critical programming and services for women and girls.

Applications are due Thursday, May 31, 2018 and the grants committee will announce the awards in June 2018.
