This year’s volunteer campaign team features names that are both new and familiar. Several of them cited inspiration garnered from beloved Jewish community leader and 2021 campaign co-chair, Howard Reiter z”l. When the question was put to Harry and Dana Schwartz, Major Gifts and Lion of Judah chairs, they said, “It's not complicated. We have put down roots in the Greater New Haven community and through the Federation, we can help our fellow citizens locally in so many different ways. And of course, Israel is our personal priority. This year, we got an added nudge from our dear friend, Howard Reiter z"l, who told us to step up when he was no longer able to. We share his passion and his commitment.”
