NPR is compiling a list of free online concerts of all genres. Some require Facebook or streaming services, but others are shown on YouTube or on the performers’ websites and just require a click on the link. The list will be updated weekly so check back each week for new content.
During this extraordinary and difficult time, the Met hopes to brighten the lives of its audience members even while our stage is dark. Each day, a different encore presentation from the company’s Live in HD series is being made available for free streaming on the Met website, with each performance available for a period of 23 hours, from 7:30 p.m. EDT until 6:30 p.m. the following day. The schedule will include outstanding complete performances from the past 14 years of cinema transmissions, starring all of opera’s greatest singers.
The Vienna State Opera is also livestreaming daily performances, as is the Scottish Symphony Orchestra!

Starting April 2, free full-length musicals and plays every Thursday from the UK National Theatre. Each performance will be available for one week.

ChaiFlicks is offering a 30-day free trial of their movies--this might be a good time to check out some good movies. We do have most of them in the library-if you don't have the time to view them now.
openlibrary.org has thousands of ebooks to read totally free. The reading quality isn't always the best because they have been digitized by scanning the originals, which sometimes are many years back and the pages are yellowed. There are a lot of "golden oldies." Search for books by subject. (Example: “Jewish”)
